A. All accepted applicants are required to pay their first $5 USD monthly instalment by the start date of their chosen programme. You can complete your payment through the ALX eHUB, with a variety of payment options available. Following monthly payments will be due one month from your programme start date. (Ex. If your programme starts on 18th November 2024, the first payment is due on that day, and the second instalment is due on the 18th December 2024.)

B. You can either pay the $5 USD All Access yourself or have someone pay on your behalf. ALX accepts all major credit cards, Apple and Google Pay, PayPal, and mobile money payment options. Some markets have cash options as well.

You can choose to pay either in your local currency or in USD. ALX fees are charged in USD and therefore are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

   NB. For all non-card transactions (such as bank transfers, Applepay, GooglePay, FawryPay or mobile transactions) a 2% non-refundable processing fee may apply.

All Access payments are non-refundable and compulsory for learners to complete their programme. You will not receive a refund if you are unable to complete the programme, however you will be able to pause your programme and restart your learning at a later date. Please note that the deferment cut-off dates vary by programme and after these dates you would need to re-enroll into the next cohort.

The first All Access $5 USD payment is due on your programme start date. All subsequent payments are due one month from your programme start date, and will be communicated in your eHub profile and over email. Should you miss your payment deadline, your eHub access will be paused and you will have two weeks to make your payment and reactivate your profile. Your access will be restored again as soon as your payment is made. If you don’t make payment within your two week reactivation period, you will be considered as dropped out and will be required to reapply to your programme to continue.

By enrolling in one of our programmes, you gain access to a world of opportunity. This includes access to our local Tech Hubs situated in 8 cities across the African continent. There, you can attend lectures and masterclasses, network with other tech professionals, and co-work in a state-of-the-art space. After completing your course, you will still be able to access these perks, as you will automatically be part of the ALX Fellowship, which helps learners further their career after completing their programme.

Our Tech Lite programmes are designed for absolute beginners. Our Intro to Software Engineering programme, for example, will teach you the basics of coding and programming, starting from the ground up. All Tech Lite programmes are beginner-friendly and do not require any previous tech knowledge.

After completing our Tech Lite programmes, you will receive a certificate from our issuing partner. Upon successful completion of AWS Cloud Computing, you will receive a Cloud Practitioner certificate, issued by Amazon Web Services. After completing the Salesforce Administrator programme, you will receive a Salesforce Administrator certificate directly from Salesforce. ExploreAI will also issue you a Data certificate after you successfully complete the Data Analytics programme. Last, on completion of Intro to Software Engineering, you will receive a certificate of completion from ALX.

Our various programmes require different time commitments to complete. Our Tech Lite programmes are designed specifically to cater to learners who might have other commitments – like school or a job – to tend to. So long as you are dedicated to the programme, you can make it work.

Additionally, there are no live lectures or classes to attend. Instead, programmes consist of recorded lectures, chats in online forums, and milestone-led coursework. This means that you can choose to learn at your own pace and a time that suits your schedule best.

ፕሮግራሞቻችን የጊዜ ቁርጠኝነትን የሚጠይቁ ቢሆኑም፣ የቴክ ላይት ፕሮግራሞቻችን የተነደፉት ትምህርት ቤት ወይም ስራ ላይ ያሉ ተማሪዎችን ታሳቢ በማድረግነው። ለፕሮግራሙ ቁርጠኝነት እስካለ ድረስ፣ ፕሮግራሙን በተሳካ ሁኔታ ማጠናቀቅ ይቻላል።
በተጨማሪም፣ ሰለጠናው የሚሰጠው ሙሉ በሙሉ በኦነላይን ሲሆን ምንም አይነት በአካል የሚሰጡ ፕሮግራሞች የሉም። ፕሮግራሞቹ የተቀዳ ንግግሮችን፣ በኦንላይን መድረኮች ላይ የሚደረጉ ውይይቶችን እና ቀነ ገደብ ያላቸው የኮርስ ስራዎችን ያቀፉ ናቸው። ይህ ማለት በራስ ጊዜ እና ፍጥነት መማር ይቻላል።
