What You’ll Learn

  • Understand common data terminology and learn how to define your problems before you tackle them.
  • Build dashboards to tell compelling stories with your data.
  • Learn Python programming fundamentals: working in notebooks, logic and functions, and data structures.
  • Work with SQL to use databases for storing, reading, and updating data.
  • Prepare data for modelling, build regression prediction models with Python, and fine-tune them for better results.
  • Train and generate predictions from classification models.
  • Learn about and implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques.

Requirements

Why do we have to go into the hub during the week?

Attending sessions at the hubs is a requirement of the learning experience. The co-working spaces are designed to provide accountability, peer support, and the opportunity for face-to-face interaction and networking. This is intended to boost productivity and help individuals achieve their goals.

How do I join The ROOM?

All ALX learners are invited to join The ROOM Fellowship community where you will have access to a global network of resources, job opportunities, and ongoing career support.

Can I register for multiple programmes at the same time?

Due to training requirements and programme rigour, ALX permits learners to be enrolled in one programme at any given time. If you have applied to or are currently enrolled in a programme, you will not be eligible to apply to another programme.
