The ALX Data Science programme is developed in partnership with ExploreAI, a world leader in online data science education. It is designed for people with some background in data who are interested in advancing their skills.
The programme kicks off with ALX Foundations, a 2-month module that prepares you to thrive in the digital workforce. You will learn critical communication, leadership, and career-building skills that will help you develop into a well-rounded professional.
You will then start your Data Science specialisation with an introduction to spreadsheets, statistics, and data modelling. Throughout the course, you will also learn database management with SQL, data visualisation with Power BI, and how to program with Python. The last module of the programme is focused on cloud computing, where you can put your data science skills to the test. Upon successful completion of this programme, you will receive a certificate of completion in Data Science.

The ALX Data Science programme is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with limited experience with coding or programming. Tech-savvy professionals looking to level up their skill set can also benefit from this programme.
This programme has no prerequisites or prior experience required in Data Science. However, to be successful we do require you to be able to dedicate up to 35 hours a week for the duration of the programme, you will be required to have access to a steady internet connection and be proficient in written and spoken English.
Upon successfully completing your programme, you will be invited to join The Fellowship community where you will have access to a global network of resources, job opportunities, and ongoing career support.
