Burundi-born data enthusiast Fiston Tuyisenge is pursuing his mission in International Business and Trade at the African Leadership University in Kigali. Passionate about using data and financial analysis to contribute to the world’s development, he is developing his skills in his area of interest through our Data Analytics programme – his second ALX programme so far. He wants to help businesses make well-informed decisions that will better their bottom line and improve lives in the communities they work in.
I’m sacrificing a lot of pleasures right now to build a professional career. I’m confident it will pay off in the future.
I’m most proud that I completed my first ALX programme and successfully joined The ROOM Fellowship. Now I am exposed to a wonderful community of peers and lifelong growth opportunities.
Resilience is the key to success.
I want to contribute to Africa’s development by informing data-driven decisions. In 5 years, I hope to give back to my community by enabling investment companies to enhance their business planning.
To “do hard things” and have a growth mindset.
