Here is our Software Engineering Programme alumni, Busisiwe Nkomo, who went on to transition into a new field of technology and accelerated her career through the ALX Software Engineering Programme.
“ALX goes beyond technical training - it supports a journey to go deep into your personality and provides powerful opportunities to build yourself. The learning atmosphere is great and it goes beyond just focusing on the end product.”
“Twelve years ago, when I had just finished my college degree, all I wanted to do was become a Software Engineer. One day, I found this amazing programme, and I am having the best time of my life studying Software Engineering. I can’t begin to imagine what joy I will have when I start using my knowledge to solve real life problems.”
“ALX provided powerful lessons in self-awareness, which helped me to understand who I am as a person as well as my passions and interests. It helped me become clear about my purpose in life and my vision. As a problem-solver, I got to understand what ails Africa and see myself as a leader who has potential solutions for these problems. The whole experience was amazing.”
